Making a subject or object glow in photoshop is easy. First, place your image. Next, go to select — select subject. If you can’t select your subject this way, use the quick selection tool.
Next, press control j if on a PC or command j if on a mac to duplicate the layer. Now convert that layer into a smart object.
Now, go to filter — blur — gaussian blur. Select a radius of of about 6 pixels. Now go to the blending mode and change the blending mode to Linear Dodge (Add). You can also select the screen blend mode.
Now duplicate this layer and then select the gaussian blur and increase it to about 90.
Next, group the all the layers except for the original image and its duplicate.
Finally, create a color lookup – select moonlight.3dl. Make sure that the group is at the top, and the lookup color is right below it.
