In this quick tutorial I show you step by step how to make a fisheye effect, or peephole type effect. Step one is to create a black video by clicking on new item — black video. Add it to Video Track 3 and extend to the length of the clip.
Now create a mask with the ellipse mask option. Click on Invert, and feather the mask. Next, create an adjustment layer and add to video track 2. Apply the spherize effect and increase it a lot. Now add lens distortion, increase it to about 50.
Add the transform effect, and scale the size up. Finally, apply a directional blur, create an ellipse mask slightly smaller than the selection, set blur to about 10, and feather the edges.
