In this tutorial I show you step by step how to create a unique popup effect using Adobe Photoshop. The first step is to load your image. Next, grab the lasso tool or polyganal lasso tool and make a selection around the object you want the pop-up to originate from. Now hold down control J on a PC or Command J on a mac to create a new layer via copy.
Next, add the image you want to pop out, and then select subject or select object to isolate. Now create a mask and then select the layer you used the lasso tool on and hit the command or control button to select the selection.
Finally, click on the mask on the top layer, select a brush and using white color, paint in the selection.
