In this video, I show you how to create a cartoon caricature in photoshop CC 2021. The first step is to import an image and convert it into a smart object. Next, we will use the liquify filter. On the left side of the liquify filter there is a forward warp too – use this to increase the size of the subjects eyes / nose / lips / ears etc. Next, use the bloat tool to increase the size around the edges of the enhanced features. The pucker tool will reduce the size – use as necessary.
Head to the properties panel and click on “view more” under quick actions. Select the expressive self-portrait neural filter. Click apply. Select a style from the drop down menu – the Edvard Munch style works well. Adjust brush size and strength.
