Create motion blur for photographs – Path blur – Adobe Photoshop

In this tutorial I show you how to create motion blur using the path blur feature in Adobe Photoshop 2020.

Add motion using Photoshop “PATH BLUR” filter

Step 1 – duplicate the layer

Step 2 – Go to Filter – blur gallery, then select “path blur”

Note: the arrow points in the direction the blur will go!

You can pull the pin around to change the direction of the blur.

Click “path blur” and then set it to REAR SYNC FLASH

Adjust the speed. Adjust the taper slider

Under motion effects, adjust the strobe strength (this is meant to replicate a flash that goes off at the end of a long exposure).
