In this video, I show how to to animate type on a path inside adobe after effects cc 2018. First step is to create a new composition, then click on the type tool. Type out what you want. Next, making sure you are clicked on the type layer, click on the shape tool. Draw out a shape / mask. Then click on the text layer, drop down to path options,, and then make sure the path is set to Mask 1. For the animation, simply keyframe the first margin or last margin.
