To create an animated 3D Grid effect in Adobe After Effects 2023, first create a new 1920 x 1080 pixel composition. Add a black layer solid that is 3000 x 2000 pixels. Next, go to your effects and presets panel and add the grid effect to your black solid. Go to your effect controls panel and change the size from corner point to width and height sliders. Adjust the width and height sliders both to 48 pixels. Now go back to your comp panel and click on the 3D Layer button. Now change the X orientation to 90 degrees and move the layer to the bottom. Animate the x anchor point – from 1500 to 2000 over 3 seconds.
