In this tutorial I show you how to create a duotone effect in photoshop cc 2021. Step 1 – Select the image, then click on the channels panel (beside layers). Click on one of the channels – Red, Green, or Blue. Select the one with the highest contrast value. Next, hold down control on a PC, command on a mac – and left click on the channel thumbnail. This will select the highlights.
Go back to the layers panel, and now click on new fill and adjustment layer and select solid colour. Select the colour you want to make your highlights.
Now, go back to the channel panel and click on a different color channel than the one you used for the highlights. Hold down control / command and click on the thumbnail. This selects the shadows.
Head back to the layer panel and add another solid color adjustment layer.
