In this video, I show you how to create a light leak in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2021. The first step is to create a duplicate of your video footage. Now, go to your effects panel and select directional blur.
Adjust your blur up to 800, leave the direction as is. Now go to your Lumetri Color effect and click on basic correction. Adjust the temperature and tint to the color you want the light leak to be. Adjust exposure, contrast, highlights and shadows as you see fit.
Lastly, consider clicking on curves and making some adjustments to the curve.
