In this tutorial I show you step by step how to make flickering text, or a text flicler effect, in Premiere Pro.
Step one is load your footage onto the timeline. Next grab the type tool and create your text – it will show up as a graphic on video track 2. Now grab the razor tool and delete every second frame where you want the flicker effect to occur. Simply move forward a frame at a time, create a cut, move forward another frame, create a cut and hit delete. Repeat as needed.
