How to create an antique Look – Adobe Photoshop CC 2018

Here is a quick tutorial that shows you how to create an antique look inside adobe photoshop cc 2018. The first step is to add fibres to your image – click on Filter – render – fibres. Add as much fibre as you need (I go with 4 variance and 2 strength).

Next, I add in ocean ripple to give a more organic look – Click on filter, render, ocean ripple. I use the default settings for ocean ripple. Next, I click on the original image, and I go to Camera Raw. I change the image to black and white via HSL / Grayscale – Convert to grayscale. Next, I click on FX, and add in some grain (20) and post crop vignetting (-56).

Finally, I click on split toning, and I adjust the hue and saturation for the highlights and the shadows. I like to go with a sepia color, with a mix between orange and yellow on both – I go with 44 for hue and 21 for saturation for both values.
