In this tutorial I show you how to create a very cool echo effect or ghost trailing effect using adobe after effects. Once you’ve set up your composition, go to effect — time — CC Wide Time. Adding the wide time effect is the best way to make this effect.
Next, adjust the number of forward and backward steps as needed. In this demo we used 7 forward and 7 backward steps. You can also select if you want to have motion blur on or off, we kept it off in this example.
