In this quick tutorial I show you step by step how to create movement blur using Adobe Photoshop 2023. First step is to load your image and then convert it to a smart object. Next, go to filter — blur gallery — path blur. Adjust the speed of the blur as needed and then click on OK.
Next, click on the mask and then hold down the command key on the Mac (Control key on the PC) and click the letter I. This inverts the mask, filling it with black.
Lastly, go to the brush tool, select a soft round brush, set paint color to white, reduce the fill to 50% and then paint on the motion blur as needed.
