In this video I show you how to create a simple split screen effect. The first step is to drag and drop in the videos you want to work with. Next, create a sequence from one of the clips. Now drop the second video on top of the first clip onto video track 2 aka v2. In the effects panel, select the crop effect and drop it onto the top video layer. Make sure to crop 50% of the video, with some from the left side and some from the right side. Drag and drop the crop effect onto the bottom layer now. Also ensure it is set to 50%. Finally, you can create a rectangle via graphics – new layer – rectangle to become a centre divider if you wish.
