In this tutorial I show you step by step how to create a white outline, or white stroke, around your subject or image with Photoshop. This is incredibly popular for Youtube thumbnails.
Step one is to add your image. Next click command J on a Mac or Control J on a PC to make a new layer via copy. Now click on the fx icon in the bottom right and select stroke. Set the color to white, the position to outside, and the size to 30 pixels or so.
