Drawing and animating shapes in premiere pro is easy. First step is to bring the video footage into the timeline. Next, click on the ellipse or rectangle tool in your toolbar. From there, draw a shape. Now go to the effect control panel and remove the fill and increase the stroke. In this tutorial, we use a stroke of 15 pixels. Change the color as you see fit as well.
Now go to video transitions and select the inset transition. Drag and drop that on the image. This will animate a shape drawing.
