In this quick tutorial, we export the audio as a mp3 and no video. The first step is to drop the footage you want to use onto the timeline. Next, go to file — export — media. Now instead of selecting a video preset, like h.264, select an audio preset like MP3. You are now exporting only the audio and not the video. Adjust the quality of the audio to 256 kbps from 128 kbps.
