If you’ve never used Photoshop for video editing, you’ll need to enable the timeline feature. Go to Window — Workspace — Reset Essential to set up your workspace. Then, go to Window again and select ‘Timeline’ to create a video timeline.
Importing Your Video
Drag and drop your vertical video onto the Photoshop canvas. You can adjust the size and position of the video as needed. For this tutorial, we made the video a bit thinner to emphasize the effect of Generative Fill.
Extending Your Video
Select the area you want to extend using the rectangular marquee tool.
Click on Generative Fill.
