In this video I show you how to do a face swap using After Effects and AE Face Tools, a free to use plugin. The first step is to import your footage and place it into a new composition. Next, grab the ellipse tool and draw a mask over the face you want to swap. Now go to your tracker panel and click on mask forward using detailed settings.
Once you have a tracked mask, find a shot where the your subject is looking towards the camera and click on set rest pose. Then click extract and copy face measurements.
Now open the AE Face Tools Starter Pack plugin and select the emoji you wish to do a face replacement with. Click apply.
Finally, adjust the size of the emoji under settings and adjust the anchor point if needed.
