In this quick tutorial, I teach you the tricks to lighten dark footage in adobe premiere pro 2020. The first step is to select dark footage and place it in the timeline. Then go to effects, and select lighting effect. Drag that on the clip you’d like to brighten.
From there, you need to go effect controls and click the triangle to open it. You will see light 1. Click on that light, and switch it from spotlight to directional!
Next, you can play with the intensity (it defaults at 30) and you can create masks, adjustment to the colour of the lighting, etc.
