In this video I show you how to lighten or darken parts of an image in Photoshop CC 2021. The first step is to load the image into photoshop. Then create a duplicate of the layer. Next, go to filter – camera raw filter. Select the adjustment brush and increase / decrease the size as you see fit. To brighten the image, increase the exposure setting and paint around the part of the image you want to brighten. To darken a section of the image, decrease the exposure setting and paint across the part of the image you wish to darken.
