Creating an exact mirror image or reflection of one side of your work to another side is easy in adobe illustrator. To do this, you need to first create a design. Next, you need to select the “reflect” tool by pressing “o” or selecting it in the toolbar. Select your design elements and group them together by click on object — group. Now click a single point and hold down the alt or option key while using the “reflect” option. Now select horizontal or vertical reflection and make sure you click on copy (not on okay).
