Here is a tutorial showing you how to whiten really yellow, nasty teeth. We purposively use the worst teeth we could find to show you the techniques required. Step one is to create a copy of the image / layer. Then add a hue / saturation adjustment – click on yellows – then reduce the saturation down and adjust the lighten up. Next, use the content aware tool to fix the cavities / cracks. Finally, select the brush tool, ensure the foreground color is on white, the brush is a soft brush with low opacity and low flow, and then paint over the teeth.
